We have been working hard in the last few months to put together some new products for our online offering. Most of our customers, who favor the interior design industry, really like to see the "new stuff". So we try to maintain perpetual bliss in our showroom and we plan to carry new releases about once a month. These new release items will also be available on our product catalog at taylorchaseartworks.com and they will be available for viewing but in order to buy you must sign up for an online account, have a current business license and Georgia tax exemption on file with us. Bookmark the site if you would be interested in getting updates and info on new releases.
Most of the designers that we have been dealing with really favor the "vanilla look" which really is just simplified matting and transitional frames. This seems to work well for many living spaces. Since the majority of new spaces are concentrating more on wall color these days, the finished frame products need to be "vanilla" so that they don't compete with the room color.
Since art and framing seems to be the last things that designers do in a room we strive to make our products relevant to almost any space. Certainly art needs to have a specific look, especially if it high end art, but mainly the art should be a compliment to the rest of the room.
One of the more sophisticated looks that a product can have is a "boxed corner". Seen here in this set of four castle series, this boxed corner gives an elaborate sense of style and ties the castle look into the piece. Yes that is a real wood fillet in the mat and yes that is a series of intricate cuts to achieve that look but it is worth that to make the piece look unified.
We hope to have a regular schedule of new releases so that our products will always stay current and innovative. Check back soon at arteffectsframing.com
